Unlike manufacturer manuals, our guides are original books created by experienced instructors. They use plain English, large text, step-by-step instructions, and helpful screenshots to explain everyday tasks like making calls, sending texts, using WhatsApp, taking photos, and staying safe online.

These are the printed books that should have come in the box — patient, jargon-free, and designed for people who prefer learning from a real book rather than online help pages or videos.

Our iPhone and Android beginner guides are printed in A5 size, which measures approximately 5.8 in (W) x 8.3 in (H) or 148 mm (W) x 210 mm (H). This is similar to a standard paperback book — easy to hold, carry, and read.

The iPhone guide is 195 pages and the Android guide is 192 pages. Both are spiral-bound so they lie flat on the table while you follow along.

No, we only sell printed books. Our beginner guides are designed to be used as physical books you can keep beside you while learning.

Many people, especially seniors and first-time smartphone users, find it easier to learn from a printed book rather than switching between screens or watching videos. You can flip back to earlier pages, mark sections with a pen, and read without worrying about battery life.

Our guides are original books written by experienced instructors — they are not available as PDFs anywhere.

All our manuals are printed in high-quality black and white. Most manuals are mainly text, and any images or diagrams are clear and easy to read.

We focus on producing sharp, professional print that is durable and comfortable to use.

We offer two types of binding: spiral binding and perfect binding.

Spiral binding uses a durable metal wire. It is stronger than perfect binding and allows the manual to lie completely flat or fold back on itself. It includes a clear front cover and a white card back.

Perfect binding is similar to a paperback book. The pages are secured with glue inside a cover, with a clear front cover and a white card back.

All manuals with more than 150 pages are spiral bound to ensure strength, durability, and ease of use. This option is applied automatically and cannot be removed.

To find your smartphone manual, enter the model name or number into the search box. You may include the manufacturer, but it is not required.

Example searches using a Samsung Galaxy S10:

"Galaxy S" – Shows the S10 and other Galaxy S models
"Galaxy" – Shows all Samsung Galaxy models, including the S10
"S10" – Shows the Galaxy S10 (and possibly other brands using S10)
"S10 Galaxy" – No results (words must be in the correct order)

If you are unsure of the exact model name, enter just part of it, such as "Galaxy" or "S10". Entering "Samsung" will return many pages of results.

Manufacturers sometimes use different names for the same model in different countries. We usually display the UK model name as the main title.

When another model name appears in brackets, it is normally the name used for the same device in another region.

Some models are sold under several names. We include all known names so you can be confident you are choosing the correct manual.

If you cannot find your model, try entering less text in the search box. Use only part of the model name or number.

For example, instead of entering the full name, enter a single word or number such as "Galaxy" or "P7700". This will show a wider list of results.

EU customers can enjoy ordering with all taxes and duties paid at checkout. You will not be charged anything extra on delivery.

1. All-Inclusive Pricing: For orders under €150 (excluding shipping), EU VAT and customs duties are included at checkout.
2. Faster Delivery: Orders under €150 benefit from quicker customs clearance, leading to faster delivery times.
3. Shipping Fees: Shipping is calculated separately and does not count toward the €150 limit.

No, all taxes and duties are prepaid.

Since August 2025, the United States has introduced import tariffs on all goods, regardless of value. We now ship using a PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) service.

This means all duties and taxes are paid by us before your parcel enters the USA. Our shipping price already includes these costs, so your order will arrive with no extra charges on delivery.

We do not charge sales tax on our products. Printed instruction manuals are treated as books and are exempt from tax.

Any taxes required in your country are already included in the price you see at checkout. You will not be charged anything extra on delivery.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 12 working hours. Orders received before 12 noon are usually sent the same day, while orders received after 12 noon are dispatched the next working day. You will receive an email when we begin processing your order and another once it has been dispatched.

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail. Delivery times are typically:

UK: 2 working days (including Saturdays)
Western Europe: 3 to 5 working days
Rest of the World: 7 to 10 working days

If your manual has not arrived within 7 working days (or 14 working days outside the UK and Europe), please contact us with your order number and let us know it has not been delivered.

All orders are sent with tracking, so we can quickly investigate. If your manual is lost, we will send a replacement free of charge.

Yes, we include a printed invoice inside every parcel. This is for your records and confirms the details of your order.

If you are sending the manual as a gift and would prefer the invoice to be removed, please email us at hello@printed-manual.com with your order number, and we will exclude it.

You can return your printed manual for a 100% refund within 60 days of delivery. Please include your order number and a short note explaining the reason for the return.

Yes. You can order multiple guides in a single order, and postage is charged per order, not per item.

This makes it easy to order copies for family members or friends. For example, you could order an iPhone guide for yourself and an Android guide for a relative, with just one postage charge.

You can also order multiple copies of the same guide if needed.

You can pay using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal.

Depending on your location, you will be charged in one of the following currencies: £ Sterling, US Dollars, € Euro, Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars or South African Rand.

All payments are processed securely by trusted payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal. These platforms are fully PCI DSS compliant and meet the highest international standards for online payment security.

We never see or store your credit or debit card details at any stage of the transaction.

We are also fully GDPR compliant and protect all personal information in accordance with UK and EU data regulations.

Yes, we can ship to PO Box addresses, including those in the UK. All orders are sent by Royal Mail, which can deliver to PO Box and postal collection points.

We can also deliver to APO and FPO addresses used by the US military. Please make sure the address is entered clearly and includes any box, unit or reference numbers required.

Delivery times to PO Box or APO/FPO addresses may be longer than standard street addresses, depending on the country and postal service.
